Community Rules

Pombu is a place for small stories and big emotions. Children watch it too, so our rules are short, friendly and strict.

For everyone

• Treat others the way you want to be treated.
• The rules apply to everything: film, title, description, thumbnail, display name, @handle and avatar.
• If something is not right, report it. If someone harasses you, block them.

Never on Pombu

• anything that sexualises or harms children; we report such content to the police,
• sexual content and nudity,
• gory and gratuitous violence, cruelty to people or animals,
• hatred, humiliation, bullying and threats,
• terrorism and violent extremism,
• self-harm, eating disorders and dangerous challenges,
• drugs, weapons, gambling and scams,
• fake news presented as fact,
• other people’s work without permission (music, films, characters),
• spam, hidden advertising, misleading titles and thumbnails.

Real people

• Use the likeness or voice of a real person only with their consent. This applies to celebrities too.
• Real children only with a parent’s consent, and never in an inappropriate, humiliating or dangerous situation.
• A deepfake without consent means immediate blocking of the account.
• Never publish anyone’s personal details, such as address, phone number or school.

Generated content

• Every generated film carries a synthetic content label and exports carry the Pombu logo. Do not remove them.
• Do not present a generated film as a real recording of events.
• If you upload your own film with generated or realistically altered parts, label it.
• Do not circumvent safety filters or test what gets through.

Fairy tales and content for children

Fairy tales (Rozprávky) are watched by the youngest children, often on their own. So more applies to them:

• A fairy tale must be rated For everyone or Age 7+.
• No violence that hurts, no scenes that would really frighten a child, no swearing and no sexual innuendo.
• No advertising, calls to buy, links outside Pombu or requests for personal information.
• No dangerous behaviour a child could copy (fire, medicines, heights, leaving with a stranger).
• Use characters that children know from other people’s fairy tales and films only with the owner’s permission.
• Adult content disguised as children’s content does not belong in Rozprávky. We remove it and block the account permanently.

Age ratings

Give every film an age rating based on its most demanding scene. If you are not sure, choose the higher one. If a rating does not fit, we may change it.

Sexual content, nudity and gory violence are not allowed under any age rating.

For viewers

• Like, save and follow creators as you please; it is all free.
• If a film does not match its age rating or category, report it.
• Parents: for young children, choose fairy tales and films rated For everyone; for older children also Age 7+.

Reporting and blocking

On a film or a creator’s profile, choose Report. You can block a creator and you will no longer see their content. You can also report by e-mail to support@pombu.tv. A person on our team reviews the report within 24 hours. We do not tell the creator who reported, except where strictly necessary, for example for a copyright claim.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on severity: removal of content, change of age rating or category, a warning, temporary restriction or permanent blocking of the account. We always tell you what we did and why. If you disagree, write to us within 6 months at support@pombu.tv and a person on our team will review the decision again.
